Our Faith in Action
Faith in Action
at St. Rose Catholic School
At St. Rose, we live out the Dominican tradition through prayer, study, community, and service—core pillars that guide our mission of educating leaders of faith, scholarship, and service.
This charism is reflected in our daily school life through:
Prayer
Deepening our relationship with God through daily classroom prayer, participating in school-wide prayer services, adoration, and praying the Stations of the Cross during Lent.
Community
Celebrating our faith together by attending weekly Mass as a school, supporting one another, and building a welcoming environment for all families.
Study
Fostering a love of learning and pursuit of truth in all subjects while integrating our Catholic faith across the curriculum.
Service
Living the Gospel through service projects that benefit our school and the broader community, including food drives, parish events, and helping those in need.
Preaching by Example
Witnessing to Christ through our words and actions, encouraging students to share their faith in everyday life.
Virtues in Practice Program
Growing in holiness by focusing on a different virtue each month, learning about the lives of the saints, and applying these virtues in our daily interactions.
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
Nurturing a deep, personal relationship with Jesus through hands-on faith formation in our dedicated atrium space.
Devotion to Mary & St. Rose of Lima
Seeking the intercession of our patron saint and the Blessed Virgin Mary to inspire holiness, compassion, and a spirit of generosity.
